New pressure equalisation elements to prevent condensation

Two new versions of the M12x1.5 pressure equalisation elements are now available in the range of accessories for larger devices. The theoretical air flow rate (RQ) is 10 l/h and 24 l/h, respectively, at 0.07 bar.

They are ideal for preventing condensation build-up inside enclosures, thereby protecting sensitive electronics in otherwise hermetically sealed devices. Ideal for outdoor use and in areas with rapid temperature changes and moisture build-up. IP65 / IP66 / IP67 enclosures >>

OKW Group Meeting 2026

Last week, the OKW Group held an international meeting at the OKW UK premises in Fareham, England. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for participants to discuss current business topics face to face and further strengthen collaboration across the group.

The direct exchange between international teams sparked new ideas and valuable momentum, once again highlighting the importance of strong partnerships and a shared vision for sustainable growth and long-term success. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all participating companies and employees whose commitment and contributions made the event such a success.

Pole/Mast Mounting Bracket for Versatile Applications

A pole/mast mounting bracket is now available in the accessory range for the secure and stable mounting of IP rated electronic enclosures to poles and masts of various diameters.

Thanks to its special design, the new mounting bracket offers flexible application: it is suitable for smaller pole diameters (minimum 30 mm) as well as for masts and poles with diameters greater than 70 mm. Attachment is possible using cable ties or stainless steel screw bands.

COMMUNITEC – new table-top enclosure series with integrated handle!

COMMUNITEC enclosures are ideal for elegantly housing large-format installations in modern design led ‘packaging’. The key feature is a recessed handle positioned behind the control panel, allowing the devices to be carried with ease and providing greater flexibility in use.

Depending on the application, enclosure sizes S (283 × 246 × 194 mm) and M (344 × 274 × 219 mm) are available in traffic white and anthracite and the cover for the recessed handle is also offered in traffic grey A for more distinctive colour combinations. Individual colours are available on request.

The range of applications is diverse, spanning medical devices, measuring and testing equipment in laboratories, testing technology and automation, along with many other fields.

A little adventure to kick off the New Year at OKW headquarters

On 27 January, we were delighted to welcome the children from the lernWerkstatt! program, organised by the Joachim & Susanne Schulz Foundation (www.mint-im-odenwald.de). Our company once again transformed into a mini adventure park. A fun scavenger hunt led the curious youngsters through our departments, giving them a playful introduction to what OKW does and the steps involved in manufacturing enclosures.
The OKW team accompanied the event with great enthusiasm, sharing lively insights into our daily work. After an exciting day filled with discoveries—and even a few turtles—the children headed home with plenty of new impressions. A positive and inspiring start to our year together!
